I'm sure you would have picked up some bruises, if not for the armor.

I played D&D, Champions, and WoD for years. Now I'm into darker and/or more narrative games like Fate, DRYH, and Apocalypse World. Love me some Savage Worlds, too. In other news, I'm into fantasy, science fiction, skepticism and heavy metal music.   I actually got to play in a Con rpg and it was Bry Hitchcock's  Deadwood Deadlands Reloaded game...

I've been a role-player for twenty years and a mother for one. I started with 2nd Edition AD&D but these days I get my game on with Apocalypse World, Fate, Marvel Heroic Roleplaying, and anything that I haven't tried yet. I like a mixture of story games with player empowerment and more traditional games but with a light enough ruleset...

I'm a 30 something lady, who is interested in many things including music, asian ball jointed dolls (BJD's), super heroes and villains, literature, movies, and last but definitely not least RPGs :) Also, I tend to have an academic approach to all of my hobbies, because I'm a through and through academic.   My nick name, Twilight Dream, is a...

Some Things About Me: I was playing RPGs before I knew what they were. Parker Brothers hit me with a restraining order after they saw what I did to Monopoly. I like playing games I've never played before and running games I've never run before, but not at the same time. Nostalgia for old school gaming seems like nostalgia for...

I'm a big fan of story-oriented, mechanically light games. (It may come as no surprise to hear that I am into the indie scene and prefer story games to more traditional RPGs.) I especially enjoy Apocalypse World and its hacks- Monsterhearts and Monster of the Week are the stand-outs to me. It's always fun to meet new people and try...

A second-sub-basement journalist and writer trying to go up in the world. I do book reviews here: srmbc.tumblr.com. I once lit myself on fire intentionally. I smoke Ecstasy Reds, drink rum, and fill my lighter during thunderstorms. I'm paranoid about saying the wrong thing to everybody, possibly because I do so on a semi-regular basis.    What do you like...

I enjoy humor, danger, intrigue, sexiness, horror, action, drama, silliness and seriousness along with elements of philosophy (and more) in all sorts of combinations. I'm very happy to immerse myself into characters as appropriate to the game and event. In my personal preferences, I lean toward deeper story-driven games with challenges, action and obstacles to overcome; but if its a hack...

A passionate story gamer with a love for all things Apocalypse World, except Dungeon World, I've had it up to *here* with dungeons. :) I've designed several Move Engine hacks for my own personal enjoyment, including a Song of Ice and Fire hack and a Star Wars hack. I am currently working on an urban fantasy hack called Urban Shadows...

Hi.  I am a bay area gamer and like story/indie games mostly.  A fan of Apocolypse World and most hacks.  Like soap opera and mild horror elements in my games.

Jonathan Siregar is a gamer for many ages, and has spend too much money on games as it is.  Currently living in Brooklyn, looking for games, and reading books of RPGs he'll probably never play again.   Current favorites are Savage Worlds, Spirit of the Century, and BASH Basic Action Super Heroes. Looking to play the new DC Universe Adventure...

I've been gaming for a long time and played a large assortment of games. Currently I am into games like AW, MH, and games using the FATE system. Still, I also enjoy games like Dark Heresy, WW Games, Deadlands, SW, and Superhero themed games. I dislike elves because they break too easy.   What? This donkey? I am just making...

  • Scenario conceived by Alan Hodges Putting on a Show It’s time for this year’s musical production at Reina del Mar High School. They are putting on Into the Woods. Unseen forces must be at work here because band and drama are more popular than sports this year. It’s clear that anyone without a part in the performance will be branded as terminally lame. Auditions started a week ago. So far you don’t have a part. Fortunately, it’s a small school. How hard can it be to get involved?
