Caer Fintan (a.k.a. Ascillius) : Character profile

Caer Fintan was born and raised on the Segmentus Majoris Orbital Industrial Platform positioned high above the peculiar orbit of the Lathe
Forgeworld System, in the Calixis Sector.  Being born on the platform rather on the planet's surface meant that the affects of the strange
gravitational forces, which allow the Lathe foundaries to produce some of the most durable and deadly material in the Sector, took no toll on the youth's structure.  He is as fully formed as a human on any other world.
Caer's cultural background has it's roots on the world of Landunder, where his ancestors hailed from one of the few ingienous population sent there before the Great Crusade. They lived in large groups on top of huge floating platforms, suspended on the planet's chemical oceans by bouyant sacs underneath.  Generations ago, Caer's ancestors were assimilated into one of the huge undersea hives on the planet, where they served as serfs in the chemical farms. At some point, his family joined the Imperial Guard and had a long standing tradition, thus allowing their sons to join the Schola Progenium.  Caer's father was one such individual, who left the Progenium and went on into the Adeptus Mechanicus, where he raised his son, Caer.  Cear's electoos mimic the ancient customs of his raft-dwelling ancestors, as did his father's before him.

Caer himself excelled to such a level within the Adeptus, particular in the field of ancient technology, that he was requisitioned by the Inquisition to serve as an Acolyte.

Someone else would describe me as...

Cold, effective, and not very talkative.  Bent on his own agenda, which he keeps a mystery.
