    About this game

    For those of you who haven't heard of Feng Shui, it's basically Hong Kong Movies The RPG. It combines wuxia, heroic bloodshed, modern martial arts and everything else that they've done in a time-travelling setting where there are mysterious factions that fight over feng shui sites in order to control the world. It's over the top and always willing to go to extremes, from extreme violence to over-the-top melodramatics, followed up by a guy getting hit in the groin with a football levels of slapstick.

    For those who played the original, but haven't heard or tried Feng Shui 2, most of the changes were done in the direction of streamlining. Starting PCs are Name + Archetype + Melodramatic Hook, which takes away choices but lets you theoretically jump right in. The math has been adjusted to smooth out some of the weird math mechanics of the previous game, but the basic mechanics are the same with d6!-d6!, with all the wild ranges of outcomes that can give. The setting has changed, mostly in the Ancient and Future junctures (69->690, future is now post-apocalypse wasteland vs one world government lockdown), but otherwise keeps most of the unique parts of Feng Shui's Chi War. 


    This is going to be a Chi War game, but that's the only thing I'm sure of at this point. There will probably be a decent amount of time travel, and I do enjoy some of the gonzo nature of dropping people into pop-up junctures, but it'll depend mostly on player input and melodramatic hooks.
