    About this game

In the world of Mouse Guard, mice struggle to live safely and prosper amongst harsh conditions and a host of predators.

Thus the Mouse Guard was formed: more than just soldiers, they are guides for common mice looking to journey without confrontation from one village to another.

They see to their duty with fearless dedication so that they may not simply exist, but truly live.

    IMPORTANT

Please keep in mind this game is intended to be a fairly long-term campaign, spanning all four seasons of the year 1149. Each season can take anywhere from 2 to 5 sessions, depending on the season. The game schedule can be flexible, but If you cannot commit the game please do not register.

    Premise

    Spring, 1149

The harsh winter has ended and the grean leaves are heralding in a time of bounty in the Mouse Territories.

But as usual the winter thaw has left many trails washed out and cut off many settlements.

It's the Guard's job to clear these paths or find new ones. This is a dangerous job, but one the Guard must do.

    Style of play

I would hope to capture the comic's tone of both Light-heartedness and seriousness.

So I only want players who will take the game seriously but who also aren't afraid to have a bit of fun with it at the same time. afterall, Fun is serious business.

I would prefer players who are familiar with the comic but it's not a must.

I'd love to join this game, are we using play by post/play by mail/skype/or something totally different?

I just bought the box (I already had the hardcover) and I wanna start something new with my players but apparently I've got the same issue of finding a balanced group to capture the comic's tone and accept certain unorthodox gaming rules.

I also noticed u started this registration way back in May but the game is slated for Jan 30. So when exactly would this start?

P.S. where did you get the art for that avatar. Is it from the latest novels?
