    About this game

Three players minimum; ten players maximum. Players are encouraged to create characters that can do what they want to do in-game rather than a "fit" a role they perceive being needed in-game. All characters will start at the Novice (0) EXP Threshold.

    Premise

Vampire will be set in modern day New York City and will follow the journey of a fledgling Coterie of Neonates as they navigate their way through a nigh-ancient, preternatual world of undead predators, byzantine politics, ghastly depravity, horrific violence and neverending nights. Will they fall before their Requiem is complete and become just another footnote in an Elder's schemes and conquests or will they rise above the rest of the Kindred and forge their own destiny... and maybe, just maybe, even become Ancients themselves?

    Style of play

All games will include a mix of action, adventure, intrigue, stealth, investigation and crafting and these gameplay elements will be varied based on our players' overall preferences. Please begin creating your characters as soon as possible.

    Hi Promethean

How new player friendly will this game be never played any wod.  Used to things like cyberpunk 2020 along time ago.  I've not rp'd in along time but recently have been feeling like having another go and the concept of this game seemed intresting.

    Session One Recap Part One

In the modern nights of New York, blood was going to be spilled. This particular night starts off with some young vampires being invited to Elysium for the first time. Rose and Rebecca got through security and embarked on the left elevator. Keith entered, hid his crowbar in a flowerpot and then attempted to get a hacking device through security. Unfortunately for him, King witnessed his attempt from the security room and told the guards to bring him a private room. At the first sign of trouble Keith booked it out of the lobby and up the stairs. Karec, Dean and Jack witness this strange sight and then collectively shrug. Dean and Jack enter the middle elevator and begin their accent.

Meanwhile, Speed Demon was finishing up work in the garage on one of the Prince’s cars. After looking it over, he realized that not only could he do the partial restoration the Prince wanted but could soup it up while retaining its classic look. After doing so, he is told by a guard that the money would be deposited into his account the next night and that he might as well enjoy the party up stairs. Speed Demon does so and plans to have a good time.

    Session One Recap Part Two

Richard, on the other hand, is having a stressful night. As part of the security detail, it’s his job to make sure these youngsters don’t get out of control. After supervising them for a while he kicks back with a drink in one hand and a ghoul between his teeth. After drinking his fill, he heads up to the eighth floor.

Rose and Rebecca are enjoying nice small talk when Rose presses the button for the seventh floor instead of the sixth, where the party is at. Rebecca had heard that no one ever goes to the seventh floor and tried to question Rose about it. Rose said something along the lines of I don’t know why I was told to go there and it isn’t your business. Rebecca made it her business when she pressed the emergency stop button on the fifth floor. They yelled at each other for a while, with Rose questioning why she pulled such a bone headed move while Rebecca claimed it was for Rose’s safety as who knows what happens on that floor. They then moved up to the sixth floor where they briefly interacted with Sam, a rather fetching female vampire who was enjoying herself. Rose continued her quest to the fabled seventh floor with Rebecca in tow, who was attempting to tempt her to party and forget her goal, by climbing the stairs to find that the seventh floor was cut off from the stairs. The two went to the eighth floor, which resembled a much less crowded and sophisticated club. The two continued to argue about what to do.

    Session One Recap Part Three

Dean and Jack exchanged in small talk as the elevator went up one floor, where they were the doors opened to reveal Keith in all of his fugitive glory. As the doors closed with their new traveling companion in the elevator, Dean recognized him as the runner from downstairs. Realizing that if he did nothing while this guy was literally right in front of him the Prince might punish him, Dean informs Jack who Keith is and that they should bring him to security. The elevator gets to the fifth floor when Keith explodes into action, simultaneously failing to break through the service hatch and punching out the light. Dean and Jack then grapple with Keith, who screams about eating their souls for this indignity. He wiggles out of the grapple and begins a two on one fight with vampires who are much angrier and better at brawling then he is.

    Session One Recap Part Four

King is having a hell of a night in the meantime. It starts when he spots an anomaly during the security checks and asks for one of the neonate to be brought to a security room for questioning. The vamp in question books it, leaving the lobby dumbfounded. As King ruminates on how stupid the lobby guards must be to let this guy escape them he notices that the left elevator is heading to the seventh floor. Seeing that it might be a security breach, he calls the security office to make sure that it wasn’t a mistake. Reassured, he notices that his buddy is having technical problems. After discovering that two wires were unplugged and fixing that, the system was up and running perfectly unlike the idiots King works with. He then sees that while he was handling that disaster the middle elevator also had the emergency stop pressed and was completely in the dark. Sighing, he picks up the phone to talk to the security office and… hey, there isn’t any answer on the other line. That’s weird…

    Session One Recap Part Five

Archyl was a normal research doctor. Sure, he may be a wee bit homophobic but that doesn’t get in the way of his work. Especially when it looks like this; these blood cells were fascinating. They shouldn’t function according to the laws of nature but they seem to in spite of that. However, this breakthrough could wait another day as Archyl was tired after a hard day working around the lab. Bidding the sleeping security guard goodbye, he runs into the rain to make it to the subway. He slips and almost hurt himself falling down the stairs. After regaining as much dignity as possible, he noticed a homeless man was making a hassle of himself. A woman tries to shove the homeless man out of her way, which he rewards her by slicing off her arm. A man immediately tries to clock the hobo but he is rewarded with a snapped neck. As the rest of the station clears out, Archyl is rooted to the spot in horror until he hears the whimpers of the woman. Keeping one eye on the hobo, who has decided to take a nap after his exertions, Archyl bandages the woman’s arm. He has to decide what to do next before the homeless man wakes up and finishes the job.

    Session One Recap Part Six

Silky woke up from her nap as the squad leader shouted for everyone to check their weapons. Making sure this was real and her submachine gun was loaded, she and the squad repelled down the side of the building until they reached the eighth floor. On the signal, they burst through. One of the first to react was Richard, who slashed at Silky. On instinct, Silky fired her weapon on full auto. Richard was able to survive somehow and crawled into a corner to try and scoop his guts back into his body. The assault on Elysium has begun and the nights of New York will never be the same…
