Threshold is an RPG that I am writing to publish. I haven't gotten to play test it, yet, and this seemed a good chance to do so. In Threshold, the PCs are terminal cancer patients. You're going to die, and you know it. Whether you've made your peace with that fact or not... well, that's your problem. You got a visit from a guy in a suit. He said some pretty cool things. He said that they've got an experimental drug that can get you out of bed for your last few days. You'll feel better than you ever have...
GM: June Shores
This is a Doctor Who game using the Fate Core system. Players will create a brand new set of companions and a new Doctor (let's call this face number sixteen) and play out their new adventures in time and space.
Mature Themes. Ultra-Violence.***I've done an adventurous version of The Road Warrior with Savage Worlds. It was fun, but now I want to try something...apocalyptic.This is a one-shot scenario. There are victory conditions, but no pre-arranged way to reach them. Everyone's gonna die. You've been warned.
GM: Aaron Morneau
There are monsters out there. Most people don't believe in them, but they're real. Mostly, when someone finds out that monsters are real, that's just before they die. But some people are mean enough, smart enough, crazy enough, or hurt enough, that they live. And some of those people go and hunt down more. That's who you are – someone who decided to go on a crusade against the evil critters that are scurrying around out there. It could be that you make a stand and defend your hometown from everything evil that comes there. It could be you take...
It's 1986. The resort town of Santa Carla, California, is a haven for surfers, tourists, students, academics, hippies, the homeless, and many many monsters. It's the town from the movie The Lost Boys, modeled after Santa Cruz, CA. There is a boardwalk, a university and a couple of high schools. Bloody kisses is a miniseries about domination and submission, love lost and found, and outbursts of monstrous violence for four masochistic role-players.

Scenario conceived by Alan Hodges Putting on a Show It’s time for this year’s musical production at Reina del Mar High School. They are putting on Into the Woods. Unseen forces must be at work here because band and drama are more popular than sports this year. It’s clear that anyone without a part in the performance will be branded as terminally lame. Auditions started a week ago. So far you don’t have a part. Fortunately, it’s a small school. How hard can it be to get involved?
GM: Twilight Dream
(This'll be a one shot, and I'll run it twice, this one being the first run.) When you are a teenage monster trying to fit in, no-one ever gives anything without at least some strings attached. When you are a teenage monster trying to fit in, there is no such thing as unconditional friendship, love, or acceptance. When you are a teenage monster trying to fit in, it is so very easy to get completely tangled up into the complexities of high school power games and drama. Not forgetting the everimportant question of who is sleeping with whom. And when...
GM: Shannon Mac
This game is by invitation only. Sorry. Paul Fricker (author of Gatsby & The Great Race, My Little Sister and co-author of the forthcoming 7th edition Call of Cthulhu rules) has produced a Call of Cthulhu scenario to help raise money for Cancer Research. Dockside Dogs is a modern-day scenario for 3-6 players This was supposed to be a simple heist. A group of well-dressed criminals arrive at a warehouse to rendezvous after pulling off an extraordinary crime. They know each other only by their pseudonyms - Mister Black, Mister...
The Verse, a shortened nickname for the hardhold, University, is the last safe haven for the survivors of the tragedy that swept through the land two generations ago. Morale is low, but there are still people pitching in, pulling together, trying to muddle through, keeping humanity alive. Once upon a time, they say this place was a utopia in the grasslands, a home where families continued, people shared, and times were hard, but never as bleak as what they’ve become. The sadness became too much to bear, and the world sent it back, as the skies grayed, and the life...

Urban Shadows game to get some practice in on the system before the Halloween event.
The muggles think that fairy tales are just stories. Or worse, Disney cartoons. But fairy tales are real. And the heroes and villains from those tales have living Descendants today. That's what you and the Shadow Force know. Fairy tales are history. History of the world, and history of your families. And you aren't alone. There are others. Some people don't even know that the blood of Red Riding Hood or the Big Bad Wolf runs through their veins. Some people who do know live normal lives. But others take the power that came from their lineage and seek to...

Tremulus uses the move engine to tell Lovecraftian stories, although not necessarily using the same mythos. You play characters who are doomed. You can either try to escape your cruel fate or go down swinging, to give meaning to your death. The free play books are available here: http://rpg.drivethrustuff.com/product/120263/tremulus-classic-playbooks?src=s_pi

It is time for the annual petition for “Grants” that allow people like you to live in London. You may have just arrived in London, seeking sanctuary from your enemies. You are all students at Hailsham, and have lived there there all your lives. You have no family except each other. The head mistress isn't a horrible person, though she doesn't always treat you like a person. You were cloned from the dregs of humanity. that was what they say, anyway. Some of the other students like to pretend their original was a celebrity, or someone important. But more than likely, you were copied from something lesser. But you are special. You have become something more. If they tested your blood more often they have terminated you already because anyone that gets...
You are teens living in a world where organ replacement, plastic surgery, and body modification enhancements are easy to come by. Any replacements parts are grown by a company called GeneCo. However they have a very strict payment policy. If you miss more than one payment, your parts are taken back by GeneCo. Most folks don't survive a visit from the Repo Man. All of you have had some kind of surgery in the last two years. All of you received parts that had been repossessed from someone. Before this surgery, you were normal teens. Now... something is different about...

It's an annual tradition-- the junior class goes on a "camping" trip to the former Madras Mining Camp. The facilities are half-decent and the planned activities can actually be kind of fun. Secrets will be uncovered and created, bonds will be forged and broken, all in the space of a weekend. But it is what is waiting for them when they return home that will change their lives forever.

Part of the Tabletop Video Games event. We will be using pre-generated characters and using an adaptation of the Fate Core ruleset for the game. London, the Winter of 1898. Everyone expected another mild winter, but there's a blizzard blowing in from the north. In Whitechapel and other poorer neighborhoods, the cold will kill many people. So will the monsters, beasts summoned by a mysterious Cabal of sorcerers bent on controlling the world. Only a few mortals possess the courage and skill to resist the creatures of the night. The ones who do have banded together into cells and lodges. They support each other. They share knowledge and fight side by side. They are The Rippers.
Your economics and chemistry classes are organizing a trip to a local vineyard to talk harvest, crushing, fermentation, cask aging, etc. Of couse, you will not be able to taste any of the wine, but you will get to taste grapes and juice, and it beats disecting frogs.
This game is just to help organize a face-to-face group, but if you are interested in playing something similar online, you can leave a comment.

The Reaper War seems unreal now: cities burning, society in chaos, families set to panicked flight, the Citadel turning from the hub of galactic civilization to a corpse processing factory to a super-weapon that won the war. The legendary Commander Shepard united the galaxy like never before to destroy the Reapers. But, because the mass relays were badly damaged, the galaxy quickly fractured into isolated regions. Devastated by war and cut off from support, each system struggled for survival. From disintegrating families to the collapsing interstellar corporations, war has impacted every aspect of society. Two years later, the Council has...

This is an IntroCon one-shot of 13th Age intended for players who are new to the site and/or 13th Age. In the 13th Age of the world, adventurers seek their fortunes in the Dragon Empire while powerful individuals known as Icons pursue goals that may preserve the empire from chaos, or send it over the edge. Players decide which Icons their characters ally with, and which ones they oppose. These relationships, along with a personal history and a unique trait chosen during character creation, help define an adventurer’s place in the world of 13th Age and lay the groundwork for...

Klamath Academy is a boarding school nestled in the Cascade Ranges just north of the Oregon border. Its students are troubled. Some of them bounced around the foster system and ended up placed here because there was nowhere better. Some of them are juvenile delinquents. Something's wrong with the world and I don't know what it is. It used to be better, of course it did. In the golden age of legend, when there was enough to eat and enough hope, when there was one nation under god and people could lift their eyes and see beyond the horizon, beyond the day. Children were born happy and grew up rich. Now that's not what we've got. Now we've got this. Hardholders stand against the screaming elements and all comers, keeping safe as many as they can. Angels and savvyheads run constant battle against there's not enough and bullets fly and everything...

Starting out the game was pretty hard - those boars and bears were pretty tough, and learning how the game works doesn't help that much, since it's unlike anything you've ever played before. Virtual Reality. Alteratio is the first game that you decided to play using this system. A high fantasy setting, this place boasts magic, demons, monsters, gods, and epic items, fights, and interactions with either the people or NPCs (Non-Player Characters). And, it came free with the Virtual Reality system to boot! Why NOT play it? Not like you have the greatest activities to do outside...

Now that Tony Stark has rebuilt his house in Malibu, he is throwing a housewarming party on Halloween for a couple hundred of his closest friends, executives, scientists, and hangers-on, and you're invited! Or maybe you just snuck in. In any case, the security here isn't as good as you expected, because you've managed to wander into Stark's private workspace. Meanwhile upstairs, Stark has passed out, and outside a swarm of minor earthquakes is shaking Los Angeles with crime surging in their wake. You are standing in Stark's workspace, looking a bunch of empty Power Armor suits. This could be...
If there were still such a thing as weather forecasts and meteorologists, they'd predict a 100% chance of rain. Unfortunately there is no such thing as meteorologists anymore. Maybe they would have been able to find an explanation for why the rain affects the world the way it does.

For those of you who haven't heard of Feng Shui, it's basically Hong Kong Movies The RPG. It combines wuxia, heroic bloodshed, modern martial arts and everything else that they've done in a time-travelling setting where there are mysterious factions that fight over feng shui sites in order to control the world. It's over the top and always willing to go to extremes, from extreme violence to over-the-top melodramatics, followed up by a guy getting hit in the groin with a football levels of slapstick. For those who played the original, but haven't heard or tried Feng Shui 2, most...
